In 2015, P7:1SMA’s Artistic Director, Norhaizad Adam, showcased BELON to a global audience as part of the ATLAS residency programme at ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival. BELON has since been performed by P7:1SMA as a full-length dance production at The Substation in Singapore and NuArt Sculpture Park in Bandung, and will be presented as a programme of Floating Utopias at ArtScience Late on 15 August 2019.

BELON is performed with inflatable objects and explores the paradoxical nature of art. It seeks to occupy and engage the space of intermediates. Its narrative expresses the desire to uncover the equilibrium between conventions and the contemporary.
