Ery Mefri is the Founder & Leader of Nan Jombang Dance Company. His journey was triggered by the passion to express himself by combining his own potentials with the Minangkabau culture and traditions – in which he believes to hold endless possibilities and interpretations.

By investigating different forms of movement, be it dance, martial arts or somatic practices, I experiment and allow the body to take form to the style it resonates the most. By harmonizing the mind, body and soul, we are then able to truly be present with our form of art.
